Adam J. Oppenheimer, MD specializes in women’s & children’s health and has over seven years of intensive plastic surgery experience, specifically in the areas of breast surgery and body contouring.
Cosmetic surgery is a part of Dr. Oppenheimer’s lineage, as he is a third-generation Plastic Surgeon. He attended Yale University as an undergraduate and went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He then completed an Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Michigan and a pediatric Plastic Surgery fellowship at Washington’s Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Oppenheimer is a specialist in breast and body surgery, using the latest advanced techniques, with particular expertise in breast reconstruction and body contouring after massive weight loss. Breast procedures with which the surgeon has extensive experience include breast augmentation, breast lift, and treatment of gynecomastia, a minimally invasive surgery performed for the reduction of male breast tissue. He also performs fat grafting and body contouring procedures that help patients regain their physique after significant weight loss, in addition to abdominoplasty and liposuction.
Dr. Oppenheimer is the author of over 25 book chapters and articles on plastic surgery. His interests include congenital breast deformities and natural tissue breast reconstruction, which has lead him to the position of expert resource for Breast Friends for Florida.
